Grow Lights
Grow Lights are an excellent solution to the limited growing opportunities we experience. For many keen gardeners, there is a huge frustration in not being able to grow plants and seedlings all year round, or, at not being able to start seedlings off earlier in the season. The cause is the lack of daylight in the winter and early Spring months. This either causes lack of germination or long, thin seedlings that produce poor quality plants, if they survive.
Our range of Grow Lights alleviates this difficulty and stretches the growing season, making it ideal for raising early seedlings, and allowing the gardener to grow crops like salad leaves, herbs and even dwarf vegetables, such as tomatoes and chillies, all year round. When used in a heated greenhouse or warm conservatory, growing can continue throughout the year.
We currently stock the impressive Garland-made Grow Light Garden, a highly efficient system utilising two 24W fluorescent bulbs.
