Peat Pellet Propagators

The Sow and Grow Windowsill Propagator, from Gardman, is usefully sized and shaped propagator designed to fit onto the windowsill and benefit from natural daylight. The set contains a waterproof base, clear plastic propagating lid and 22 peat pellets.

The Sow and Grow Windowsill Propagator is based on compressed netted peat pellets: add water and the pellet will swell to make the pot and compost combined. Key benefits of this system of growing are that it is remarkably easy, with no mess, and plant roots are unrestricted. When ready to plant out, the peat pellet is planted, remember to cut away the net, resulting in no root damage and no plant pot to discard.

The tray and propagating lid, with the addition of extra peat pockets, can be used many times over.
