How does it Work?

How to Use

Pre-mix with compost before planting:

Compost for bedding plants, basket plants etc, apply 2 level spoons per 10 litres of compost.

For plant pots, tubs and baskets:

Up to 30cm (12") plant pots - 3 level spoonfulls
Up to 60cm (24") plant pots - 6 level spoonfulls
Window Boxes - 2 level spoonfulls
Growbags, beds & borders - 2 level spoonfulls per 30 litres of compost/soil

How to Use

Plants should only be fed during the growing season. The number of tablets required depends on the volume of the compost or size of container (see below). Place the required number of tablets around the plant and push each tablet fully into the compost to prevent the roots of plants from pushing the tablets back out. Take care to avoid breaking any roots as this may harm the plant. Water immediately after application.

25-30cm (12") plant pots - 4-6 tablets
Over 35cm (14") plant pots - 8-10 tablets

Vitax Epsom Salts is a rapid and effective cure for magnesium deficiency in plants. Magnesium is necessary for the production of chlorophyll, without which the foliage turns brown and withers. Tomatoes and house plants are particularly susceptible to magnesium deficiency.
