Telescopic Loppers

The Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Advance Heavy Duty Telescopic Ratchet Anvil Loppers, 8290RS, are a mechanical type, really heavy duty lopper. When the handles are opened, the jaws of the loppers are automatically opened. The handles are then opened and closed, approximately four times to power the jaws fully closed and thus complete the cutting.

The Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Advance Heavy Duty Telescopic Ratchet Anvil Loppers feature a smooth ratchet action that provides power cutting in a few short steps, which is ideal for thicker, harder branches. The upper, cutting, blade is made from SK5 carbon steel, that has been PTFE coated to resist scatches ans therefore helps prevent rust.

The tubular aluminium handles are extremely light, but also very strong, and it has soft feel, non slip grips for comfort. These Loppers, thanks to the 2R double radious blade, have a good ergonomic cutting action.

The Razorsharp Advance Heavy Duty Telescopic Ratchet Anvil Loppers have a maximum cutting thickness of 50mm (2").

The telescopic handles have a length of 710 - 1030mm (28-40").
