It also significantly increases the rust resistance of the tool. The blade on the Transplanting Trowel is ruled, up to 4" or 10cm, and so allows for precise planting depths. It has a superb, comfortable dark hardwood handle that has been weatherproofed for long lasting resilience. It also features a useful leather wrist strap.
