Peat free wool compost for improving clay soils. Dalefoot Lakeland Gold is a sustainably sourced organic compost with wool and bracken that is ‘clay-busting’. Organic composts with bracken in them break up the clay sods and introduce organic matter and nutrients to improve clay soils. The benefits of organic matter are well known; including unlocking nutrients and retaining moisture. Dalefoot Lakeland Gold wool compost is Soil Association approved and approved for organic gardening. It is peat free and vegan friendly.
